The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, discussed with the Iranian ambassador in Damascus, Mahdi Sobhani, the relations of joint cooperation in the field of education and scientific research.
During the meeting today, Minister Ibrahim pointed to the importance of activating the executive program signed between the two sides, exchanging scientific visits, holding seminars and conferences, and exchanging experiences and joint scientific research between Syrian and Iranian universities.
For his part, the Iranian ambassador affirmed his country's supportive stance for Syria, pointing to the need to strengthen scientific and knowledge cooperation between the two countries, establish joint work in precise scientific disciplines, and form joint committees to follow up on all issues that serve the two countries.
