Ed Sheeran will rock the Munich Olympic Stadium three times, on September 10, 11 and 12, 2022. To ensure that the concert runs smoothly, you should follow a few tips.

Munich – When he sings, everyone is a bit happier after just one verse.

Everyone, that means tens of thousands of people in Munich who will make the pilgrimage to the Munich Olympic Stadium at the weekend to hear and see the British superstar Ed Sheeran.

Pop star Ed Sheeran fills the arena three times in a row: on September 10, 11 and 12, 2022 he sings his heart out in the Olympic Stadium (read here: the concert review of Ed Sheeran's German tour start in Gelsenkirchen).

Before going to the concert in the Olympic Stadium: Check your cell phone battery!

To ensure that everyone enjoys it, concertgoers should note a few things.

The organizer asks you not to bring many things to the concert, but to limit yourself to the ticket, mobile phone, keychain and wallet.

Important: Because there are only digital tickets for the Ed Sheeran shows that have to be downloaded in advance in the Eventim app, you should check whether your smartphone battery is sufficiently charged before you arrive.

Thorough bag checks and ticket checks are carried out during admission.

Restricting yourself to the most essential items makes the work of the security staff easier and shortens the waiting times at the admission controls.

Only bags and neck pouches with a maximum size of 29.5 x 21 cm (DIN A4) are permitted on the site.

For safety reasons, bringing some items is prohibited.

This includes in particular heavy or bulky and/or potentially dangerous objects such as weapons of any kind, pyrotechnic objects (including sparklers), laser pointers, helmets, backpacks, larger bags, rivet belts or chains (e.g. on wallets), containers of all kinds (especially made of glass), umbrellas, spray cans (also deodorant or hair spray).

Tape recorders and film, video and photo cameras are not permitted.

Bringing animals is not allowed.

It is not permitted to take food, drinks and drink packaging of any kind with you.

Please travel to the Olympic Stadium by public transport!

Attention: Due to parallel events in the Olympic Park, there may be different routes for visitors.

The organizers therefore ask you to pay attention to the announcements and instructions of the staff on site as well as to our current information on the Facebook page.

Because of this and also with regard to the increased security measures, they recommend taking possible longer travel and waiting times into account in your time planning and arriving in good time.

The best way is by bus and train.

On-site parking is very limited - also due to events taking place in the Olympic Park and in the city at the same time!

The Munich Olympic Stadium is easily accessible by public transport.

The nearest underground station "Olympiazentrum" is a few minutes' walk from the stadium.
