Damascus University announced that more than 26,000 male and female students applied to the university admission comparison centers within the university in Damascus and its branches in the governorates of Daraa, As-Suwayda and Quneitra.
According to the statistics of the Directorate of Systems and Information at the university, of which SANA received a copy today, the number of applicants for the general selection for university admission has reached 26024 male and female students to date in all the centers designated for registration at the university and its branches.
The statistics showed that this number included all types of trade-offs for university admissions for the scientific branch, the preparatory year for medical colleges (general and parallel), comparisons for the families of martyrs, wounded and missing persons, children of faculty members, people with disabilities, Arab and foreign students, non-resident Syrians, and vocational high schools, in addition to the direct registration of successful high school graduates, the literary branch. (general and parallel).
The accredited registration centers in government universities and their branches began on the fourth of this September, accepting applications for university differentiation for the academic year 2022-2023 to continue until Sunday 25-9-2022.
