The exception to the ceiling of 240 thousand euros for salaries for managers of the public administration is skipped in the Chamber.
The Budget Committee of the House has in fact approved the suppressive amendment of the rule introduced yesterday in the aid dl bis by the Senate.
Even the Head of State would have judged inappropriate the provision contained in the Aid bis decree which abrogates the salary ceiling, currently set at 240 thousand euros, and which regulates the "Economic treatment of top positions in the Armed Forces, Police Forces and public administrations'. President Sergio Mattarella, it was learned in parliamentary circles, would also have expressed - in a conversation with Prime Minister Mario Draghi - perplexity about an "inappropriate" rule, especially at a time when Italians are struggling for energy crisis.
