A major time warp awaits us in the season premiere of House of the Dragon, bringing with it a new set of actresses.

Of course, many are wondering if the youngsters Alcock and Carey will continue to be seen in season two.

Milly Alcock as young Rhaenyra Targaryen and Emily Carey as young Alicent Hightower have quickly won the hearts of House of the Dragon fans.

Unfortunately, the run of the two actresses ends after the next episode, because Emma D'Arcy (Truth Seekers) and Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel) take over the roles in the second half of the ten-part season opener.

There is another leap in time that is even bigger than the previous ones.

But: Will there still be a place for Alcock and Carey?

In an interview with THR, Carey opened up about her work on the Game of Thrones prequel.

The possibility of her and Alcock being involved again in the already-ordered season two was also discussed.

Carey said: "It has already been talked about, there have been discussions, but to be honest, I don't know myself."
