The cancellation comes about a week after the Canadian singer announced that he was taking a break from his world tour, in order to put his health at the top of his priorities. May he recover and return to the stage soon - hopefully for us too"

About a week after Justin Bieber announced that he was taking a break from his world tour, today (Thursday) it was officially announced that the singer's performance in Israel, which was supposed to take place on October 13 at Yarakon Park, was canceled.

The reason for canceling those shows is that Bieber announced that he wanted to take a break due to exhaustion and to take care of his health.

As you may remember, the star has already canceled several performances in recent months - and last June he even revealed that he suffered from Ramsey Hunt syndrome, which occurs when an outbreak of ringworm affects the facial nerve near one of the ears.

In some cases, this can cause facial paralysis – in Bieber's case, he experienced paralysis on the right side of his face.

In a video he uploaded to his Instagram account after the revelation, Bieber showed how one side of his face was indeed paralyzed.
