A few months before the release of God of War Ragnarök, Sony is beating the advertising drum vigorously.
On September 13th, a limited-edition DualSense controller for the PS5 was announced at State of Play - in the frosty look of the action-adventure.
Here's where to buy the limited edition, what price to expect, and when pre-orders start.

What does the limited PS5 controller look like?
Sony didn't change the basic layout of the DualSense for the limited edition.
Instead, you can expect a new blue and white color scheme.
The sides of the controller for the PlayStation are kept in a cool blue, while the touchpad and the elements around the sticks show a frosty white.

Two blue insignia are emblazoned on the touchpad itself.
On the right the bear as a symbol for Kratos, on the left the wolf as a symbol for his son Atreus.
Sony uses a plain black for the buttons and the digital cross.
The look of the PS5 controller was inspired by the Nordic world of Midgard, in which the adventure around Kratos takes place.
Recently, fans have been treated to frosty new gameplay for God of War Ragnarök.

Where can I buy the limited PS5 controller?
As Sony revealed at the PS5-heavy State of Play in September 2022, the limited edition DualSense wireless controller for the PS5 is available for purchase in time for the release of God of War Ragnarök on November 9th, 2022.

God of War Ragnarok PS5 Controller Pre-Order Start: 09/27/2022
You can pre-order the two-tone controller from September 27, 2022. It is not yet known whether it will be sold via Sony's PlayStation Direct service or whether the new DualSense will also go to the digital counter at Amazon, MediaMarkt, Saturn or OTTO.

How limited is the new controller?
How many copies of the limited PS5 controller in the design of God of War Ragnarök will go on sale is not yet known.
However, be prepared that you will have to be quick if you want to buy one of the coveted specimens.

How much does the limited PS5 controller cost?
Sony has not yet commented on the price of the limited PS5 controller for God of War Ragnarök.
At the start of the variants in Starlight Blue, Midnight Black or Cosmic Red, fans had to accept a surcharge compared to the conventional controller: It is therefore quite possible that Sony will also pay a bit for the exclusivity here.
We expect the price to be somewhere between €65 and €90.
