(ANSA) - MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 15 - Russia and Iran are completing the preparation of a new strategic cooperation agreement.
Russian President VladimirPutin said this today in Samarkand, where he met his Iranian counterpart Ibrahim Raisi.
Putin added that the positions of Russia and Iran "are close or coincide" on many international issues.
The Tass agency reports.
Ria Novost reports that next week a delegation made up of representatives of "80 large Russian companies" will visit Iran.
