I am size XL and have you tried Kim Kardashian's swimsuit (fittybritty)

Kim Kardashian's swimwear and underwear brand, SKIMS, promised to upgrade and flatter any size body, but a size XL fashion lover measured up and claimed that some of the items in her collection definitely don't do the job.

She even took larger sizes - and they didn't provide the support she needed in the chest area either.

TikTok user Britney, @fittybritty, who normally wears a size 14 (the Israeli equivalent of size 44), was left disappointed by the tops of two of the swimwear she purchased, which she described as "horribly tiny".

She mentioned that this was the first time she was trying on the Skims swimwear brand and that she had to cover her chest with her hands for fear that TikTok would censor her videos.

Britney, who usually shares videos promoting positive body image, shared videos last August of her trying on swimwear for the first time.

In the first video she presented two sets - black and pink.

The beginning was optimistic: the black bikini fit her nicely, according to her.

She said the $36 bottom looks "nice and high-cut" and that the $48 top fits her DD bust nicely.

She added: "I'm surprisingly impressed with the top. It fits, I feel like it's supportive and I really like the bottom too. The bottoms are definitely more modest here. I love how high they go. First impression: I'm very impressed and love the simplicity of it . I'm going to keep it. I really like what I see so far and I feel amazing about it."

Disappointment came later.

The second item she measured disappointed her.

According to her, the upper triangular part comes in size XL but is "horribly tiny".

She said there wasn't enough fabric to cover her chest and had to cover it with her hands while she tried on the matching panties.

"I don't want Tiktok to block me, but let's say I need a bigger size in the top."

With the bottom she was more forgiving.

In the second video, she measured another item, this time in a larger size - XXL - and discovered that although she exaggerated the size, the item was not supportive enough.

She tried on the Skims Unlined Underwire swimsuit that costs $68 paired with bikini bottoms that cost $54.

She liked the cocoa color of the bikini but said: "I feel the top is just small. I prefer to have support and coverage and feel comfortable in a bikini - so I took a size larger. I'm not ashamed of my body - and neither should you."

She also admits that she hoped the top would come with straps for tying and would be adjustable: "Neither the straps nor the back are adjustable," she explained, "My chest, even at XXL, still doesn't fit the pads. It feels unsupportive at all."

TikTok users complimented her and less praised Kardashian's swimwear collection.

"It's stunning on you, no matter how exposed it is," wrote one and another added: "It doesn't surprise me that it's like that. I was exposed to several measurement videos of her collection and many were disappointed."
