Tracking transmitter in the back: does this teddy also have a fluffy secret?

A young woman from Mainz has apparently cleared up a series of mail thefts - thanks to a tracking device in a teddy bear.
The police announced on Friday.
Accordingly, the woman had lost her bunch of keys along with her mailbox key in July.
Since then she has not received any mail or packages and suspected that someone had found the key and was regularly stealing her mail.
Now the woman ordered a teddy bear online and had it handed over to her personally at the front door.
Then she hid a GPS transmitter in the cuddly toy and packed it up again.
She put the package with the bear in her mailbox.
Two days later it was gone.
The 27-year-old was able to locate the stuffed animal in an apartment in her neighborhood and called the police.
On site, the woman had a signal played on the GPS transmitter in the teddy bear.
The officers found it in the closet of the apartment.
The police initiated investigations.
