Nations League: Mancini calls up 29 Azzurri, three rookies

The Nations League race restarts, with Italy chasing the primacy of the group that is worth access to the Final Four.

For the matches on 23 September in Milan with England and on 26 September at Hungary, the coach, Roberto Mancini, has called up 29 players.

First call to the national team for Lazio and Empoli goalkeepers Ivan Provedel and Guglielmo Vicario, the latter already called up in May on the occasion of the internship reserved for players of national interest, and for the Salernitana defender Pasquale Mazzocchi.

Vincenzo Grifo also returns to wear the blue shirt, last called up for the friendly match against San Marino in May 2021. The Azzurri will meet on Sunday 18 September at the Federal Technical Center in Coverciano.
