The Excellence and Creativity Authority continues to accept applications for participation in the competitions of the new season of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad 2023 until the twentieth of September, for outstanding students in the basic education certificate.
In its announcement, which SANA received a copy of, the commission stated that the outstanding students who have obtained a score of 2,800 or above in the basic education certificate in general education, and who have obtained 2,620 in cosmic subjects and above in the legal preparatory school, can join the Scientific Olympiad, as well as for students who have obtained a score of 595 and above in the subject Mathematics or a score of 395 or above in general science in the basic and Sharia education certificate exams to highlight their excellence at the level of Syria and the world in one of the following specializations: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics.
The authority indicated that the electronic registration link was placed on the student’s result page on the results website of the Ministry of Education, in addition to publishing it on the website and page of the Excellence and Creativity Authority, the website of the Ministry of Education and the accounts of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad offices in the governorates, indicating that it is not possible to register in the form for more than one time.
The authority pointed out that the registration includes filling out the student’s desire for the subject he would like to participate in from one of the specializations of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics, and installing a cell phone number to receive a message containing the place and date of the test, indicating that it is not possible to modify desires after the end of the registration period on September 20 The form must be filled out carefully and accurately, as the applicants will be contacted according to the information contained in the form.
It is noteworthy that the Commission adopted a new registration mechanism in the Syrian Scientific Olympiad competitions two years ago, which is to provide immediate electronic registration for outstanding students through the mentioned link, after registration was done through schools and education directorates in the governorates at the beginning of the school year for tenth grade students.
