A flight attendant revealed the dirtiest place on the plane (@flightbae.b)
Do you fly a lot?
You should know that these are the dirtiest places on the plane, and it turns out that they are not the toilets.
Brenda Orlos, a very experienced flight attendant from Miami, uploaded a video on TikTok where she revealed to her 120,000 followers: the back pockets of your seat are the dirtiest place on the plane.
True, we don't bother too much with this part of the seat, but the reason it's the dirtiest is because the cleaners hardly ever clean it.
In addition, Brenda revealed that she has seen passengers putting unsanitary things in there - from food to dirty napkins.

"It's dirtier than the toilet on the plane, dirtier than the seat cushion and even more than the food trays. It's because it's never cleaned, unless someone vomited or something got stuck in there," she explained, adding that the cleaners usually do a superficial wipe and remove food and dirt, but If you don't really clean and wipe those pockets behind the seat (which are actually in front of your face the whole flight).
Brenda's followers were quite shocked by the new information they were exposed to.
“I usually put my phone in!” wrote one shocked commenter and Brenda advised him to stop it immediately, one commenter also revealed that he had previously seen a parent shove a used diaper in there..yuck.
So if you were thinking of using the pockets on the back of the chair, you should think again.
Or at least check that they are clean.
Despite the overall reaction to the horrible discovery, there were some commenters who claimed that they are cleaned by airlines and said that Orlos' video is false and that these pockets are cleaned regularly.
"Actually, we have two teams for each plane. One takes trash and vacuums, the other team thoroughly cleans each seat," wrote one of the cleaners.
Another cleaner agreed and said the bag would be cleaned depending on how long it would be before the best one was on the road again. You're not 100 percent right," said the second cleaner, who added: "It's supposed to be cleaned, but people may skip it for convenience."
