(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 17 - There are 17,154 new infections from Covid registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Health Minister.
Yesterday the infected were 17,364.
The victims are 38, down from 44 yesterday.
The rate is at 12.2%, essentially stable compared to 12.6% yesterday.
The total number of Covid cases detected since the beginning of the pandemic in Italy is 22,148,935.
There are 150 patients hospitalized in intensive care, 8 more than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits, while the daily entries are 21. The hospitalized in the ordinary wards are 3,474 in the last 24 hours, 126 more than yesterday.
The currently positive are 426,951, compared to yesterday 1,229 more.
21,545,438 (+15,883) have been discharged and healed, while the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic is 176,546.
