(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 17 - The Ukrainian counter-offensive continues in Donetsk.
Soldiers from the 66th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced the liberation of the village of Shchurove, 12 kilometers from the city of Lyman.
The announcement, as reported by UNIAN, was made by Ukrainian soldiers in a video message in which the military reported that Shchurovoe, known as a small tourist village, passed under the control of Kiev and was completely liberated by the Russians.
After that, the soldier raises the Ukrainian flag over the village.
Shchurove is located 12 kilometers from Lyman in the Donetsk region, where heavy battles are taking place.
