King Charles and William meet people lining up for the queen

King Charles III and Prince of Wales William met some of the people lined up to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth's coffin in Westminster Hall. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - LONDON, SEPTEMBER 17 - King Charles III and Prince William of Wales met some of the people lined up to pay homage to Queen Elizabeth's coffin at Westminster Hall.

The sovereign shook hands and chatted with the agent, who queued all night.


   The king and prince joined the crowd in line at Albert Embankment.

Carlo stopped for a few minutes before getting back in his car and heading to Buckingham Palace.


   While the Prince of Wales continued to plod along the queue, shaking hands and exchanging jokes, as he will ensure that he does not forget anyone.

"God save PrinceWills" is heard screaming.

"You will be a wonderful prince of Wales".

He reciprocates by recommending to keep warm, indeed, with those who tell him he stayed in line all night excused for the cold they had to suffer.

Before leaving the crowd at his own time, he aboard a Range Rover a few moments ago.
