The President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, arrived in Westminster where the coffin of the Queen is exposed, this Sunday, September 8.
The presidential couple wished to pay him a last tribute before the funeral which will take place on Monday, September 19.
The head of state and his wife opted for black on this day of national mourning.

“Monday, I will be in London to attend the funeral,” tweeted the President of the Republic, on September 15.
And to add: “The link between France and the United Kingdom is unbreakable.
We will continue to weave it, following the path laid out by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II”.
Other heads of state will meet at the funeral among the 2,000 guests at Westminster Abbey, where Elizabeth II was crowned in 1953. Among them, Joe Biden, on the United States side, or Jair Bolsonaro, president of the Brazil.
