20 years of PIN.Freunde - this has now been properly celebrated.

At a PIN.Party in the rotunda of the Pinakothek der Moderne.

The wild band Slatec created a good atmosphere.

On the twentieth you have to, sorry!, let the sow out.

And how they did it on Friday evening in the Pinakothek der Moderne.

Because not only the museum itself, but also its support group PIN.Freunde has been around for two decades, as reported.

Chairmen Dorothée Wahl, Katharina von Perfall, Annette Stadler and their committed team invited to the big birthday party.

Better: to Remmi Demmi until three in the morning in the rotunda.

With announcement.

What a casual idea to invite Slatec.

What this wild troupe around the trombonist Roman Sladek, who also founded the Jazzrausch Bigband, is doing that night on the stage, in front of the stage, sometimes floating five meters above the stage, is too well expressed with "musical accompaniment". .

It was a musical hug from all sides.

Around 500 guests came to the Pinakothek der Moderne.

Here is a picture of the auction, after which everyone danced wildly.

The five sound artists torched something between techno and theatre, jazz and funfair, performance and trombone for their birthday.

With such a musical quality that what can only happen in an open-minded house, in which the claim of "modernity" is taken seriously, happens: even the oldest art patrons among the approximately 500 guests, who are cheekily encouraged to adopt a rather conservative attitude beneath the dance floor, whirl through the pink-lit museum hall.

And cheers enthusiastically when Georg Stirnweiß (synthesizer) cruises through the dancing crowd with a golden E-Porsche in miniature.

In contrast, every standing reception with a string quartet is a round of bobby-cars.

"We definitely don't just have friends of art in our ranks, but also friends of young music," Katharina von Perfall is happy about the successful celebration.

As always, it was also an event to promote the Pinakothek der Moderne.

Before the regular PIN.Auction with top-class art is scheduled for November 19, there was now an unusual auction of uneventful art.

42,000 euros were collected that evening.

Nice experiences were offered, such as a private reading by Bernhard Maaz, Director General of the Bavarian State Painting Collections.

That was worth 4,000 euros to one bidder.

A barbecue evening with Achim Hochdörfer, director of the Brandhorst Museum, in his garden brought in 5,200 euros.

And a studio visit to Wolfgang Tillmans 10,000 euros.

A guest bought a photo shoot with the internationally renowned portrait photographer Sammy Hart for 9,000 euros.

Without always noticing it, many others also became a work of art that evening: Sammy Hart crept through the rows with his camera and captured the revelers in pictures.

And the 20th birthday, this party with drums and trumpets.

Guests at the PIN.Party: Julia Finkeissen (Vioventi Art) and Gabriel Lewy (Entrepreneur).
