Woody Allen
confirms his intention to say goodbye to directing, following the making of his latest film Wasp 22, which will begin shooting in Paris in the coming weeks.
"My idea, in principle, is to stop making films and concentrate on writing," he told the Spanish newspaper 'La Vanguardia', adding that he will later write a novel.
The interview was organized on the occasion of the promotion of his short story Zero Gravity, published in Italy by La Nave di Teseo.
The 86-year-old director had already expressed in the past, the last time in June, his intention to leave the cinema, confessing that he had lost his enthusiasm.
