After the decline of the last few days, in the last 24 hours the percentage of beds occupied by Covid patients in hospital wards has stopped at 5% in the last 24 hours (a year ago it was 7%), but sees a decline in 7 regions: Basilicata (6%), Calabria (12%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (8%), Lombardy (4%), Molise (5%), Pa Trento (8%), Umbria (16%).
At the nation level, the percentage of intensive care units employed is also stable, standing at 2% compared to 6% exactly one year ago.
This was reported by the National Agency for Regional Health Services (Agenas), based on data from 18 September.
The percentage in medical (or non-critical) hospital wards occupied by Covid-19, compared to the previous day, grows in 2 regions and autonomous provinces: Liguria (8%) and Pa Bolzano (7%).
It is stable in the remaining 14 regions: Abruzzo (at 8%), Campania (6%), Emilia Romagna (7%), Lazio (6%), Marche (5%), Piedmont (3%), Puglia (4% ), Sardinia (4%), Sicily (6%), Tuscany (3%), Valle d'Aosta (18%), Veneto (4%).
Only Umbria and Valle d'Aosta exceed the alert threshold of 15%.
As for the percentage of intensive care units occupied by patients with Covid-19, compared to the previous day's survey, the value grows in Friuli Venezia Giulia (2%) and Tuscany (2%), while it falls in Calabria (3%).
It is stable in 15 regions: Abruzzo (2%), Campania (2%), Emilia Romagna (3%), Lazio (3%), Liguria (1%), Lombardy (1%), Marche (1%) ), Pa Bolzano (3%), Pa Trento (2%), Piedmont (1%), Apulia (2%), Sardinia (3%), Sicily (2%), Umbria (1%) and Veneto (1% ).
In Basilicata (0%), Molise (1%) and Valle d'Aosta (0%) the variation is not available.
All regions are below the 10% threshold.
