Hotel BY14 in Tel Aviv: accommodation that is business and pleasure

3 minutes' walk from Trumpeldor Beach and 5 minutes from the Carmel Market, is the Tel Aviv BY14 Hotel, which by definition is a business hotel, but great for those looking for an urban vacation without entering the city with a car.

Guests are waiting for rest and work areas like in we work, fast Wi-Fi and at breakfast there is a "re-fill"

This could be your neighbor: 1 out of every 10 in Tel Aviv - a millionaire (Walla system!)

"Once upon a time here there were sands rising all around and also a view," says Arik Sinai's poem about the city that never rested for a moment.

As someone who was born in the year 2000 and who grew up all her life in a city that knows no peace, it is hard to imagine this period that I picture as peaceful and gentle - in which Tel Aviv-Yafo knew peace.

However, technology, innovation and the progress of the world have turned the city into a metropolis that is the center of Israel's economy, culture, media and art, as well as an important tourist center that attracts about one and a half million tourists a year.

Among the culinary experiences that the city has to offer, the parties, the markets and the beach strip that stretches along it - there are also those who come to Tel Aviv to do business.

If we return for a moment to the continuation of our song "Everything in it was planned and tested" - we will get the exact description of the business hotel on Ben Yehuda Street in the city, where we stayed recently.

A quiet atmosphere that radiates work

The BY14 hotel is located in the heart of Tel Aviv, three minutes' walk from Trumpeldor Beach and the promenade and five minutes from the Carmel Market.

This is an ideal location for anyone who does not want to enter Tel Aviv with a car - and during the construction of the light rail in the city, when streets are closed for the morning and this is without talking about the parking problem - this is a significant advantage.

The hotel is characterized by a quiet atmosphere that radiates work.

In the center of the lobby is a huge we work complex, which includes a wooden table with dozens of sockets and connections for charging electrical devices as well as comfortable chairs.

Light refreshments are also offered at the place, including fruit, yeast cakes, macaron cookies in various flavors, juices and wine - which are available to guests most hours of the day and are replenished quite frequently by waiters who roam around the lobby.

In the complex there is a coffee corner that helps to work overtime and wooden thinking games - for anyone who needs a light break.

In the hotel, fast Wi-Fi is available to all guests free of charge.

Also in the lobby you can find double tables and comfortable armchairs next to them, where you can hold business meetings or work.

In the lobby there is quite relaxing background music, potted plants that give the place a lively atmosphere and all in all the complex is bright and spacious.

An international audience that comes from all over the world

May-June and October-November are the hotel's hot seasons, when it is often filled to the brim with an international crowd that comes from around the world, especially from Europe.

The solid atmosphere that the hotel transmits is suitable for the business people who often come by car for a working vacation at the place - which also offers a sauna complex and a modest gym that includes treadmills, weights and bicycles.

Near the gym you can find a balcony with a deck, high chairs and tables, overlooking the sea.

Although the view from it is spectacular, in the summer, during most of the day, it is hot to sit on the non-covered balcony, where there is not a drop of shade.

This is a hotel that can be called a kind of "little brother" of the SAVOY hotel which is not far from it, towards the sea.

It has 107 rooms, of which one is a suite as well as a premium floor of rooms with balconies overlooking the sea.

The design of the hotel is quite simple, urban and characterized by not particularly bold colors - probably to create a relaxed atmosphere for the working crowd.

The room I stayed in had a fairly large balcony overlooking the urban landscape of Tel Aviv and it was compact and bright.

The bed was comfortable and had the same familiar white sheets, which are always fun to stretch out on after a hard day's work or recreation.

The shower room radiated an atmosphere of cleanliness and its design was black.

The air-conditioned room, with the parquet, desk and chair, suited the couple.

Breakfast is served in a dining room provider, a cafe provider, in a complex outside the hotel but adjacent to it.

You can sit at double tables in the covered and air-conditioned complex, on high chairs at the bar overlooking the street or at the tables located under the sky - which gives a Parisian touch to the experience.

The meal is served by waiters using the "re-fill" method.

The eggs are boiled with a side dish according to personal preference and served with white bread, cheeses, dips, antipasti, salmon and vegetable salad.

For dessert - pancakes or fruit and pastries placed on the bar, which guests can take freely themselves.

Along with the indulgent meal, coffee is served to the guests' choice.

How much does it cost?

In the middle of the week, a double room with a balcony including breakfast will cost NIS 941 per night, the suite with a sea view including breakfast will cost NIS 1,310, and the minimum: NIS 764 per person per night in a standard studio room.

During the weekend, the price for a standard room can reach up to NIS 847 per person.
