Chips, chocolate and wine gums should be banned from the cupboard when losing weight.

How to replace the TV snacks with healthy alternatives.

For many, a cozy and relaxed end of the day on the sofa in front of the TV includes not only a good film but also one or the other delicious snack.

Usually it is chocolate, chips or other sweets.

However, the saying "A minute on the lips, a lifetime on the hips" sums up the consequences of this behavior pretty well: the enjoyment of these delicacies usually only lasts a few seconds.

However, snacking often leaves unwanted pounds behind, which are then difficult to get rid of.

There are some healthy alternatives that are just as suitable for a TV evening and at the same time help you lose weight.

So if you don't want to do without nibbling in front of the TV, you should focus on certain foods that taste at least as good and are also healthy.

Popcorn from the cinema or for the microwave is usually sugar-coated and greasy.

You can confidently banish wine gums, crisps & Co. from your candy cupboard in the future.

Instead, make room for the following healthy snack alternatives:

  • Dried vegetables instead of chips: Many types of vegetables such as zucchini, kale, sweet potatoes and beetroot are good for making dried vegetables.

Banana chips are also a healthy alternative to conventional potato chips.

However, dried vegetables are not the vegetable chips that are also available in supermarkets.

These often have a similarly high calorie content as potato chips.

Dehydrated vegetables, on the other hand, contain less fat because no additional oil or fat is added during dehydration.

You can also determine the salt content yourself.

The delicious snack can also be refined with other spices.

  • Chickpeas instead of peanuts: If you like nibbling on peanuts in front of the TV, roasted chickpeas are a healthy alternative.

To do this, toss the chickpeas with oil, salt and other seasonings, then spread them out on a baking sheet to bake for 30 to 45 minutes.

  • Fruit ice cream instead of ice cream: You don't have to do without ice cream for a cozy evening in front of the TV.

Instead of a high-calorie and high-sugar vanilla or chocolate ice cream, simply choose a fruit ice cream made from banana, raspberry or strawberry.

To do this, puree the fruit and fill it into ice molds, which you then place in the freezer.

After a few hours you can feast on your ice cream.

  • Homemade popcorn instead of greasy or sweet popcorn: If you like to reach for a bowl of popcorn during a movie night, you will also find a healthier alternative to the mostly sugar-coated versions from the cinema or the greasy ready-made products for the microwave.

Simply prepare the corn kernels with olive or coconut oil instead of butter and use as little sugar as possible.

  • Fruit leather instead of wine gums: If you are a fan of gummy bears & co., you can switch to fruit leather.

This is dried fruit that contains fewer calories, sugar and fat than industrial wine gums.

In addition to exotic fruits, strawberries and raspberries are good for drying.

These come without flavors or gelatine.
