The conditions of Hasib Omerovic, the 36-year-old who crashed on July 25 from his home in Rome during a police check.
The man, who is deaf and dumb, would have appeared very frightened and at the moment he would still not be able to communicate properly.
But the picture of recovery of his conditions could lead in the coming days to compose another fundamental piece in the story that sees him involved: the prosecutors could soon question him and have his version of what happened in via Gerolamo Aleandri two months ago.
In the file launched in piazzale Clodio, after the complaint filed by Hasib's family in the first days of August, the alleged crime remains that of attempted murder.
At least the positions of eight people are being examined by the magistrates, those of the police personnel who would have operated that morning in July.
According to the complaint, four would have entered the apartment to ask, according to them, the documents to Hasib.
Four more would have arrived on the spot after Hasib had already fallen, just to help rescue.
In these days, in addition to the neighbors, some agents have been heard as people informed on the facts.
The key objective of the investigation is precisely to clarify the reason why a check was carried out that morning: was it coordinated by an official or was it a decision taken by the four in plain clothes?
According to some hypotheses, the initiative was also linked to some reports made by citizens in the police station and relating to alleged harassment that the man would have carried out against some women.
Furthermore, on 24 July, threatening posts against the 36-year-old had appeared on some Facebook profiles.
It is not excluded that, from the service report provided by the Primavalle police station, the motivation that led the agents to enter Omerovic's home (where at that moment the man was with his disabled sister) without a search warrant was due to the suspicion that weapons or drugs were hidden in the place: the only cases in which it would have been possible to proceed without a mandate from the prosecutor.
The investigators will still analyze the documents and in case of serious inconsistencies they could also hypothesize other cases such as forgery in public deed.
And investigations are also continuing to understand whether there has been complicity in any trespassing committed by public officials.
In the meantime - after the replacement of the manager and the deputy - the new official, Roberto Ricciardi, has arrived at the Primavalle police station, who directed the administrative police to the Viterbo Police Headquarters.
"The Omerovic are awaiting a response from the Minister of the Interior, Luciana Lamorgese, on what happened, which we trust will arrive shortly", explains their lawyer, Arturo Salerni.
