PIN.Party in Munich: This dress is a work of art!

When the PIN.Freunde invite you to the party in the Pinakothek der Moderne, it will be colorful and dazzling.
The outfit should be something special.
The renowned Düsseldorf artist Meral Alma created the perfect dress for it.
A museum support group is celebrating its birthday.
The big PIN.Party in the Pinakothek der Moderne was coming up again.
As an art and fashion enthusiast, one naturally asks oneself: what to wear?
When you're lucky enough to know a woman like the renowned artist Meral Alma, the answer is easy: give her a call in Düsseldorf - and the solution is just a few creative nights away.
In the Düsseldorf studio, Meral Alma editor Katja Kraft made the perfect dress - and the perfect bag to go with it.

"Only" is of course a complete understatement.
Meral Alma, this insane artist in the best sense of the word, never gives less than 150 percent in her work.
And so, after I told her about my idea of a dress she had designed, she canceled her planned vacation without further ado.
Without my knowledge, word of honour!
I had naively assumed: I put on a white dress, stand in her studio, she squirts on some bright acrylic paints - and the rainbow-colored birthday dress is ready.
Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that.
Working day and night, Meral Alma brought motifs from one of her best-known works, the expansive picture “Circus of Life Act 4”, to life in miniature on the fabric.
When I slip into the finished dress for the first time in Düsseldorf, in the midst of her feel-good paradise of an atelier, it's as if Alma were putting feather-light armor on me.
One that protects whoever wears it against everything mean in the world with the power of art.
Which immediately exhilarates - also makes the viewer happier, in this real circus of life.
So happily I visit the PIN.Freunde birthday party in the Pinakothek der Moderne.
A finely painted ballerina hovers over my back.
And it may have been primarily the band Slatec by and with Jazzrausch big band founder Roman Sladek, who encouraged everyone to dance at the PIN.Freunde-Sause - being an art lover, I imagine that Meral Almas is also a dancer contributed its small part to it.
At this festival with drums and trumpets.
I was allowed to celebrate it in the most beautiful outfit I could have dreamed of.
Being a work of art once in a lifetime, thanks to Meral Alma I've experienced it.
