A 23-year-old man was shot dead in Lower Saxony.
In addition, two men were seriously injured in the incident in Stade late Monday evening, one of them also by shots, as a police spokesman said.
Accordingly, there was an argument between several people in a restaurant.
The dispute then moved outside, the spokesman said.
The alerted emergency services found the 23-year-old there with serious gunshot wounds to the upper body.
He was resuscitated but died shortly afterwards.
Gun with silencer found
Shortly thereafter, another argument broke out between three men in front of a house not far from the restaurant.
A 28-year-old was seriously injured in the head, it said.
The emergency services also found a 39-year-old man with serious injuries behind the house.
He also had gunshot wounds to his upper body.
These two men are not in mortal danger.
A firearm with a silencer was found in the stairwell of the building, the police spokesman said.
Whether it is the murder weapon will be checked.
All four people involved have been arrested.
It is still being determined how the crimes are connected.
