Biden will tell Truss Good Friday deals need to be protected

(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 20 SEPTEMBER - In their bilateral meeting tomorrow in New York, Joe Biden will tell British Prime Minister Lizz Truss that "Good Friday agreements must be protected".

American national security adviser Jake Sullivan said this in a press briefing.

"The president will express his firm conviction that the agreement is the foundation of peace and security in Northern Ireland", he underlined (ANSA).
