(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 20 - Five people were killed by Iranian security forces during the protests triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini, 22, after her arrest by the Tehran moral police.
CNN reports it citing Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, an organization registered in Norway that monitors violations of rights in Iran.
The victims - according to the same source - were killed by gunshots during demonstrations in the Kurdish region of Iran, of which the young woman was originally from.
Another 75 people were injured in other cities over the weekend.
