ECB: Lagarde, end of rate hike will depend on inflation

(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 20 - The ECB will decide on the next "meeting by meeting" rate hikes and the "terminal" rate, that is the one where the ECB intends to stop, as well as the size of the increases, "will depend on how inflation prospects evolve ".

    ECB President Christine Lagarde said this while giving a speech in Frankfurt.

"We will not let a lasting inflation problem develop";
