(ANSA) - MILAN, SEPTEMBER 20 - On the occasion of the political elections to be held on September 25, 2022, Instagram is launching three new stickers to raise awareness of the importance of the right to vote.

Starting today and throughout the week, the "I vote" stickers designed by the illustrator and artist Olimpia Zagnoli are available on the social network.

By clicking on the stickers shared in the Instagram Stories, people can go to the website of the Ministry of the Interior and get information about the elections.

"I contributed to this project in an attempt to remind everyone of the importance of voting and of the act by using the form that I do best: drawing. The images I have chosen are lively and colorful and represent a sign of hope for the future" he explained. Olimpia Zagnoli.


   As Meta, the company that controls Instagram, recalled: "Our mission is to empower people to build communities and get closer to each other, and we believe our platforms can play a positive role in the election context by helping to use their voice where it matters. plus: with the vote. Starting today, adults over 18 will see election reminders on Facebook which, when clicked, will take them to the Ministry of the Interior portal for updates on how and where to vote.
