(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 20 - Promote access to verified and reliable information on social media, as it comes from an institutional source, in view of next Sunday's political elections.
This is the goal, informs the Viminale website, of the collaboration between the Ministry of the Interior and Meta, owner of the social networks Facebook and Instagram, which followed the one already started on September 1 with Twitter.
Starting today, electoral reminders will be published on Facebook for people aged 18 and over, which will direct users to interno.gov.it, where they can find verified and reliable information, as well as complete, on the electoral round.
The same function will have on Instagram three new stickers to share in the stories.
By clicking on the stickers, the user will arrive directly on the diinterno.gov.it pages dedicated to voting.
As for Twitter, users of the social network who are looking for terms or hashtags relating to the elections, receive a message that directs them to the "Special Elections" oninterno.gov.it.
Furthermore, an 'emoji' dedicated to the elections has been created which will be activated with the hashtag # ElzioniPolitiche2022.
