After the first half of the first season, the fantasy series House of the Dragon jumps in time by ten years, which also results in some changes in the cast.
The newcomers introduce themselves in the first trailer for the episode "The Princess and the Queen".
On Sunday, September 25th, the US premium broadcaster HBO will present the sixth episode of the ten-part season opener of the "Game of Thrones" prequel "House of the Dragon".
The title this time is "The Princess and the Queen," meaning Rhaenyra and Alicent, who will then be played by new cast members, namely Emma D'Arcy (Truth Seekers) and Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel).
They can now be seen in the first preview video for the episode, along with a whole bunch of new Targaryen offspring.

The story skips about ten years ahead.
The fact that King Viserys (Paddy Considine), who was so ill recently, is still alive should surprise many.
But we see Alicent (Cooke) pulling the strings more and more.
In the Small Council, the tiresome topic of Stepstones appears again, which apparently sunk into chaos after Daemon's (Matt Smith) conquest... You can see what else the trailer reveals and the trailer itself at serial junkies.de.
