Yes, Disappeared in Lørenskog is based on a true story.
Anne-Elisabeth Hagen disappeared without a trace from their home on October 31, 2018, whereupon her own husband, Tom Hagen, was suspected as part of the investigation.
To date, however, nothing has been traced back to him and Anne-Elisabeth remains missing.

According to the report, another man was suspected alongside the husband: Ole Henrik Golf was also arrested as his identity was used for multiple crypto accounts, one of them for ransom payment.
However, police subsequently discovered that the identity was fake and was being used by many online.

Will there be a second season of Lost in Lørenskog on Netflix?
So far, the first season of the mini-series "Disappeared in Lørenskog" has been released on Netflix with five episodes.
It is not yet known if there will be a second season.
Since the real case has not been clarified to this day, a sequel would be quite conceivable, because murder is not subject to a statute of limitations in Norway either.
However, if the disappearance is not solved, a second season of "Disappeared in Lørenskog" on Netflix is unlikely.
