Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest at Windsor Castle on Monday evening.
The Queen has been buried, the royal family said.
The burial took place behind closed doors.
With her burial in the King George VI Memorial Chapel, a separate part of St George's Chapel, Elizabeth II was reunited with her parents, her sister Princess Margaret and her husband Prince Philip.
Philip died last year at the age of 99.
In the afternoon, Queen Elizabeth II's coffin was lowered into the royal tomb beneath St George's Chapel at a funeral service (read the minute-by-minute report of the day's events here).
But he only stayed there for a short time.
In the evening, the Queen and Philip, who have been married for 73 years, were buried in a private ceremony.
Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8th at her Scottish country estate, Balmoral Castle, at the age of 96.
During the ten-day period of mourning, people first in Scotland and then in London had plenty of time to say goodbye to their queen in various places.
