The time of fame:
Almost 20 years have passed since Ninte Taib performed "Sea of Tears" in "Kochav Nold" and was subsequently crowned Israel's next star - and tonight (Tuesday) at Bequest 12 they are already preparing to crown a new star or star again.
The ninth season of the musical reality show "The Next Star" will come to an end with a final broadcast that will be broadcast live on Beshet 12 right after the news, straight from Zappa Live Park Rishon Lezion.
Along with the musical performances, the current season stood out thanks to the colorful wardrobe of judge Assaf Amdorski that could not be ignored, with the unforgettable performances of the clothes and accessories he chose for each show.

Premium level of performance
We also enjoyed the significant reinforcement that the panel of judges (Ninet, Keren Pels, Shiri Maimon, Assaf Amdorsky and Iti Levy) received this year - Ran Danker, who added a lot of glam and interest, especially in light of the reunion with Ninet on the screen, which became a recurring and amusing motif, and sometimes too tedious ;
And of course - we enjoyed the constant ping pong between the hosts Assi Ezer and Rotem Sela, who managed to break the veil of seriousness that the genre sometimes boasts, and turned it into a humorous program for the whole family.
After particularly impressive performances, and with quite a few fakes along the way, the final quartet was chosen from which one or the other would emerge as the big winners.
It should be noted that each of the four deserves the crown, and throughout the season demonstrated diverse vocals and intriguing creativity - whether it was their original songs or cover versions of other artists.
The four finalists who will compete in the finals and try to win the title of "Israel's Next Star" - a mandatory title that comes with considerable financial aid, in the form of a million shekels to promote their musical careers - are Nufia Yedidia (22), Livy Panker (24), Eliav Zohar (22) and Meitav Sherman (23).

A sea of tears, again
After choices and deliberations regarding the songs that the finalists will perform in the finals, which will dramatically decide their fate, here are the final decisions:
Livi Panker will sing "Loruh Hayam", a song by the late Ofra Haza, a singer to whom she was compared many times during the season - and maybe this performance will help her reach the first place.
Eliav Zohar, the son of Knesset member Miki Zohar (Likud), who regardless of affiliation has proven to be a very talented artist, will sing "Sea of Tears" - a song that I remember brought Ninet the victory in "Kohav Nold", and it will be interesting to see if this song is also this time will pave his way to first place.
Meitav Sherman will perform "Nichetat Itay Chall", the immortal song of Amir Banyon, and Nofia Yedidia will sing Miri Mesika's moving song "Now you are coming back".
The audience at home will largely determine who will be Israel's next star, with 82 percent of the votes coming from them through the first round of voting, which has actually already opened.
The remaining 18 percent will be chosen by the judges, that is, three percent for each judge.
The weighing of the votes at the end of the final broadcast will decide who will be awarded the first place, and who will be satisfied with only reaching the honorable status but will be left without the desired title.
Ren and Ninet are together again
Those who enjoyed the reunion between Ran Denker and Ninte Tieb, which was talked about quite a bit this season, will certainly be happy to hear that the final event is expected to include a reunion of the two on stage, who will perform a mash-up of two of their hits.
All that remains is to hope that this combination may also give rise to a duet that will be recorded and released to the radio.
Because with all due respect to the "coming stars" - the stardust that the two have been spreading together and separately for almost two decades no one will be able to make disappear.
The union everyone has been waiting for.
