It may be the desire to open up to the world after the pandemic, but what begins in Milan is the most democratic fashion week ever.

In fact, there are many brands that have decided to invite not only press and buyers to their show, but to open their doors to the public, with fashion shows no longer visible only online or on maxi screens positioned in the city, but live.

For its 70th anniversary, Moncler on Saturday evening organized a show open to the city, in Piazza Duomo with dancers, choristers, models, directed by the French avant-garde choreographer Sadeck Berrabah (Sadeck Waff), with whom it will open the 70 days of events organized in all the world for its 70th anniversary.

"In line with Moncler's spirit of sharing, and with the desire to always forge a strong and authentic bond with local communities, especially in the most significant moments for the brand, the magical night of Piazza del Duomo - the brand explains - will be open to everyone, because Moncler is everyone's story ".

The first brand with an inclusive invitation, in chronological order, is Diesel which, with the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, invited its employees and 1,600 students to its show at the Allianz Cloud Arena tomorrow.

In addition, over 2,000 people, of which 70% between 18 and 25 years old, were able to register for the show for free through an online platform on the diesel.com website, with tickets sold-out in an hour and a half.

"With the Diesel show - says Renzo Rosso, President of the OTB Group, - we want to send an important message: fashion belongs to everyone and Milan is its capital".

Parade at Parco Sempione - on 22 September - for Preview is a way of celebrating its 30th anniversary in Milan, the city that adopted the brand founded by Izumi Ogino, but also a necessity: "in Japan we still all wear masks, here it is much less used, Asian journalists and buyers are more relaxed - says the creative director of the brand - if they can stay outdoors ".

The commercial need has become a show: the models will leave the Corso Como showroom covered in cloaks, will go to Garibaldi to take a special ATM bus and will get off at Parco Sempione for the finishing touches and to unveil the collection.

In addition to the approximately 200 seats reserved for guests, anyone can stop to watch the parade live.

Given the location, everything will have a very low environmental impact,

To give a taste of how much fashion is liked not only online by the quantity of young people who crowded yesterday outside the Central Market in Milan for the Yezael fashion show: only transparent glass separated the room from the street, where many followed the show and the winner of Amici Luigi Strangis, guest of the Angelo Cruciani brand, who not only wanted his show to be visible to all, but sent 36 people on the catwalk - from the mother with the baby to the boy with the bacon, from the young man with bodybuilder acne - selected last June with an open casting.
