(ANSA) - BERLIN, 21 SEPTEMBER - The German energy giant Uniper is nationalized: the German Bund will acquire 98.5% of the company, which is the main importer of Russian gas in Germany.
This was announced by the parent company Fortum, according to reports from various German media.
The State will proceed with a capital increase of 8 billion euros, partially compensating for the losses of approximately 8.5 billion accumulated by the Dusseldorf utility after the cut in gas from Moscow.
