Twenty-one national trophies, two Champions, a Uefa Cup, a Europa League and a Conference for a total of twenty-six titles in twenty-two years of career celebrated yesterday.

Yet Josè Mourinho is still not satisfied.

"They passed quickly, but I want to continue - says the Special One, guest in Portugal of the 'Quinas de Ouro', Lusitanian football award - I feel good, I feel strong, motivated, I like to win, I hate to lose, nothing has changed ".

Then he thinks about it for a moment: "Maybe the hair color has changed, yes, and the wrinkles too", but when it comes to training the ideas are very clear.

"I am ready to continue. Not for another 22 years, because there would be no time, but for a few more years."

Because, like 22 years ago, his nature remains the same and last Sunday's expulsion against Atalanta is proof of this.

"It's not new to me - he explains - It reflects my way of being and I don't want to change it".

Hated or loved, there is no middle ground for Mourinho who in his nine trained clubs has always, or almost always, found a way to win.

He rarely did not succeed as in the first experiences at Benfica and Leiria or when he arrives on the bench of Tottenham, a club with which he still earns the league cup final, but without being able to play it because he was exonerated before.

A dismissal that will soon take him to Italy, more precisely on the Giallorossi side of Rome, the city where he will bring back a title fourteen years after the last one won by Spalletti.

The victory in the Conference, in fact, was the icing on the cake of last season "because we did what no one expected".

The goal for this year, however, "is to try to do better".

Even if according to the Special One, Roma does not have the same economic potential as its rivals.

"We made a market worth seven million euros, but we have quality, passion, many people who like to work together, which is an important thing, and then we'll see at the end of the season."

In short, the ingredients seem to be really all there.
