"There's Tom Hardy's sweat on it": The actor also brought down his last opponent in the semifinals

Fight scenes have long been part of Tom Hardy's repertoire: Many know the actor as the villain and Batman antagonist from »The Dark Knight Rises«.
As Mad Max, he's also fought Auto Hybrids and Steel Warriors.
And in the drama »Warrior« he climbed the ring as martial arts athlete Tommy.
Hardy has now shown that he has also mastered martial arts off camera.
And that up close: According to media reports, the actor surprisingly took part in an open martial arts championship in the English city of Milton Keynes – and won.
Tournament photos show the actor throwing his opponents to the ground.
On his upper body he wears the jacket of a Gi, which is typical for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
"Everyone recognized him, but he was very humble and was happy to take the time to take photos with him," a tournament spokesman said, according to The Guardian.
"It was a real pleasure to have him compete at our event."
According to media reports, Hardy has a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Back in August, the actor won a jiu-jitsu competition in Wolverhampton, hosted by the REORG charity, which Hardy supports and aims to bring jiu-jitsu lessons to people with PTSD and depression.
Hardy's opponent, Danny Appleby, told local English newspaper Gazette Live that he was stunned to see the actor in the semi-finals of the tournament.
"I haven't washed my clothes yet, I think I'm going to auction them off," Appleby quipped.
"There's Tom Hardy's sweat on it."
Hardy was "probably the toughest competitor" he had ever had.
