Camilla Parker Bowles may be the new queen consort, but she's also grandmother (by marriage, admittedly) to little Wales and Sussex.
And like any self-respecting grandmother, the royal
granny
has been decked out with an original nickname by George, Charlotte and Louis de Galles.
According to
Hello Magazine!
, the children of Prince William and Kate Middleton do not call her “grandma” or “granny” like most British children but “Gaga”.
It was the main interested party herself who confirmed in 2016, in the columns of the
Daily Mail
, this atypical nickname, unrelated to the famous singer.
"I don't know if it's because they think I'm gaga," she joked.
It's fun, but above all it's very cute."
In any case, this changes from “Rottweiler”, the sweet nickname that Lady Diana had ended up giving him.

Grampa Wales
As for King Charles III, who has a privileged relationship with the three young heirs, he was renamed "Grampa Wales" (or "Grandpa of Wales" in French), in reference to his former title of Prince of Wales.
A nickname that is reminiscent of the one given by Elizabeth II to George V as a child.
Indeed, the late sovereign had taken to calling her grandfather “Grandpa England”.
