Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg expand the family.
The computer whiz, founder of Facebook, broke the news to his 10 million Instagram followers on Wednesday, September 21.
The couple have already given birth to two daughters, Maxima known as "Max" in 2015 and August in 2017.
"Lots of love," he captioned a photo of himself with his hand on his wife's stomach.
“Excited to announce that Max and August are having a new baby sister next year!”
Dating at Harvard
The couple met in the bathroom line at a party at Harvard in 2003, where they were both studying.
So in the second year of psychology and computer science, Priscilla Chan began graduate studies in biology.
In 2010, the couple moved into a villa in Palo Alto and united two years later, on May 19, 2012, the day after Facebook went public.
The young woman, reputed to be rather discreet, but no less committed, works as a pediatrician.
In 2015, the couple set up the “Chan Zuckerberg Initiative”, a philanthropic enterprise dedicated to equality between children.
A clan of “strong women”
When his second daughter was born, Mark Zuckerberg posted a feminist message on the same social network.
“I grew up with three sisters, and they taught me to listen to strong, intelligent women,” wrote the billionaire.
"They weren't just my sisters, but also my best friends."
His wife Priscilla herself has two sisters, “who taught her the importance of the family, mutual aid and the values of work”.
A new little girl who therefore promises to be very well received.
