(ANSA-AFP) - NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 22 - German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock denounced "the brutal attack against courageous women" who have been demonstrating in Iran for several days, seeing in the repression of demonstrations "an attack on humanity".
"The brutal attack on brave women is an attack on humanity," the minister said on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Baerbock then added that Germany intends to bring "this violation of women's rights and therefore of human rights before the UN Human Rights Council".
