An earthquake was felt in Genoa and in the rest of Liguria.

According to the National Institute of Physical Volcanology and Volcanology, the quake was between 3.9 and 4.4 and occurred at 3.39pm in the province of Genoa.
On the upper floors of the buildings it was felt very strongly and the window panes shook.
The shock was felt in particular in the hinterland of Genoa and the Levant, in Bargagli, Davagna and Torriglia.
The earthquake movement also surprised the tourists of the eastern coast, from Portofino to Sestri Levante, both those who were in the hotels on the highest floors and those who were on the beach.
The operations room of the Civil Protection of Liguria is carrying out all the necessary checks and is in contact with the National Department, but from a very first monitoring there is no damage to buildings and people.

Following the shock recorded by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in the province of Ascoli Piceno, at 12.24 with magnitude 4.1, the Italy Situation Room of the Civil Protection Department got in touch with the local structures of the National Civil Protection Service .
The quake was followed one minute later, at 12.25, by another event of magnitude 3.6.
From the first checks carried out, the Department informs, the event - with its epicenter located in the Municipalities of Folignano (AP), Civitella del Tronto (TE) and Ascoli Piceno - is warned by the population, but no damage to persons or property has been reported.
When the tremors were felt in Ascoli Piceno, people went out into the street.
Some school groups also came out, such as those from
the 'Cantalamessa' middle school, who gathered in the institute's field.
Other schools, on the other hand, did not let pupils out.
There were no panic scenes and now the situation is back to normal.
An earthquake of magnitude 2.5 was recorded by the Ingv network with its epicenter 3 km from Civitella del Tronto (Teramo) at 12:35.
This is the fourth earthquake recorded in the area after those with an epicenter in the Marche region, in nearby Folignano (Ascoli Piceno), recorded by Ingv at 12:24, 12:25 and 12:27, respectively of magnitudes 4.1, 3.6 and 2.0. , the first two felt distinctly also in the Teramo area.
Primary schools evacuated in Teramo, as well as in some towns in the province.
