(ANSA) - PARIS, SEPTEMBER 22 - At least 31 civilians have been killed in Iran since the beginning of the demonstrations, repressed by security forces, to protest the death of Mahsa Amini, the 22-year-old who died while in custody by the police for not wearing properly the hijab.
This was reported today by the NGO Iran Human Rights (IHR) based in Oslo.
"The Iranian people took to the streets to fight for their fundamental rights and their human dignity (...) and the government is responding to these peaceful demonstrations with bullets", denounced the director of the NGO MahmoodAmiry-Moghaddam.
