Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg becomes a father for the third time.
Zuckerberg announced this himself on Facebook and Instagram.
Pictured are Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan.
Zuckerberg put his hand on Chan's stomach.
He wrote: "Lots of love.
I am happy to say that Max and August will have a little sister next year!« Max and August are the couple's two daughters, aged six and five.
Among other things, Zuckerberg's sister, Randi Zuckerberg, congratulated the couple under the post.
"Serious 'girl power' family!
I can't wait to meet her," she wrote.
Before the birth of their first child, Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan had made it public that they had been trying to have children for a long time.
Before Chan was pregnant with her first daughter, Max, she had experienced three miscarriages, Zuckerberg wrote on Facebook in 2015.
The couple married in 2012 after nine years of dating.
Zuckerberg founded Facebook in 2004 at the age of 19 and dropped out of university to build the company.
It became one of the largest social networks in the world.
