The spectacular nature of Garda Trentino, from Comano to Valle di Ledro and Valle dei Laghi, offers art walks among museums, installations and land art, where contemporary sculptures are harmoniously integrated into the landscape.
Each step is a revelation: the artistic itineraries, which can be followed for a good part of the year, are easy and within everyone's reach.
Following the thematic routes, you will cross woods and parks which have been transformed into open-air art galleries: "BoscoArteStenico", an art museum in Comano;
"Ledro Land Art" and "Games of Cubes", respectively art in the woods and artisan creativity in the Ledro Valley;
"Lusan Art Park", a contemporary art park in the Valley of the Lakes.
It is thus possible to admire eco-sustainable and constantly evolving works by artists from all over the world,
made with natural materials and destined to be reabsorbed by the same landscape that host them.
Their transitory vocation makes them unique and unrepeatable, to be discovered and immortalized.
Not far from Comano Terme, about thirty kilometers from Trento, you cross the "BoscoArteStenico" (BAS), a contemporary art path that is characterized by the total naturalness and accessibility of the place.
Here, above Stenico, a call for proposals is opened every year for artists wishing to create a work within this special gallery.
In the artistic itinerary the sculptures and installations, made of natural elements such as wood, bark, logs and ropes, are distributed on different levels in total harmony with nature.
Visits are free and also guided but must be booked on the website: gardatrentino.it A few kilometers north, in Vezzano in the Valle dei Laghi, there is "Lusan Art Park", a contemporary art park that houses works and installations made with different materials eco-sustainable by selected artists.
It is an intimate, cultural and naturalistic tale of the territory.
Going down towards Lake Garda you arrive at the pine forest of Pur, one of the green lungs of the Ledro Valley;
here stands "Ledro Land Art", an environmental art park with stone cows, giant violins, hands sticking out of the earth, woods of swings and metal snails, all works that can be admired along the suggestive path in the woods, along the the Assat stream up to Malga Cita.
Year after year, new installations enrich the landscape, which becomes its guardian and interlocutor.
Not far from here you can reach the brand new "Games of Cubes", which expresses all the artisan creativity in the Ledro Valley.
These are outdoor furniture installations, simple and modular but also versatile and original, created by Cesare and Giovanni Rosa, the winners of the "Outdoor Park Design" competition to enhance the most representative places in the Ledro Valley.
The two artisans, founders of Rosalab, a small carpentry workshop, wanted to enclose three values in their creations: the use of a sustainable material such as wood; creativity as an invitation to interact with the destination;
craftsmanship, making each installation entirely in Valle di Ledro.
