With "House of the Dragon" it's finally over with fun.

After the king's daughter has been deflowered, the war begins in episode 5 - with the color of a piece of clothing.

Already in the fourth episode of the first season of "House of the Dragon" the pace picked up properly.

The highlight of the episode of the "Game of Thrones" prequel was the deflowering of the king's daughter Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Once declared heiress to the throne by her father, King Viserys I, the heiress' claim to the Iron Throne is shaky.

For Viserys' marriage to Alicent Hightower gave him the long-awaited male offspring - Aegon Targaryen.

House of the Dragon: Why does Alicent's dress hint at the coming war?

At first glance, Alicent's appearance in her green dress in the fifth episode of "House of the Dragon" seems harmless.

But the color of the dress has a deeper meaning, for when House Hightower goes to war, the beacon atop the ancestral tower glows green.

With her green dress, Queen Alicent symbolizes that the games for the throne are open and she is ready for battle.

Why did Rhaenyra and Alicent break up in House of the Dragon?

Although Alicent initially doesn't listen to her father Otto when he warns her about Rhaenyra, the two friends break up.

While the former Hand of the King is forced to leave King's Landing after being accused of incest (Rhaenyra and her uncle Daemon are said to have been caught having sex), Alicent believes in Rhaenyra's innocence.

However, when she learns from Ser Criston Cole that he slept with Rhaenyra, she feels betrayed by her friend.

Especially since she herself vouched for Rhaenyra and thus played her part in her father's dismissal as Hand of the King.

Read here how episode six could continue, according to the trailer, and find out here whether Milly Alcock and Emily Carey will also appear in the second season of "House of the Dragon".
