Kering's fight against violence against women

Hosted by American journalist and television host Anderson Cooper, the Kering Foundation's Caring for Women Dinner was co-chaired by Queen Rania as well as François-Henri Pinault, his wife, actress Salma Hayek, model Gisele Bündchen, actress LaTanya Richardson Jackson and her husband, actor and producer Samuel L. Jackson, visual artist Julie Mehretu and feminist Gloria Steinem.

The foundation of the French luxury group Kering has been fighting, since its creation in 2008, "against violence against women by helping survivors to live free from violence, by changing behaviors and attitudes to break the cycle of violence and by taking collective action against violence,” reads the organization’s website.

It funds local NGOs to provide support and resources to women and those directly affected by violence.
