The article was sold in eleven federal states.
Wiesbaden – The manufacturer Savencia Fromage & Dairy Deutschland GmbH is recalling its hard cheese “Giovanni Ferrari Grana Padano Riserva” with an expiration date of December 24, 2022.

The ingredients raw cow's milk and lysozyme (from hen's egg white) are part of the usual product recipe.
For consumers who would have to avoid these ingredients, for example due to a milk or egg allergy, this would not be apparent without German labeling and therefore pose a health risk, the statement goes on to say.
Other Giovanni Ferrari products are not affected by this recall.
According to the food warning.de
portal, the cheese was
sold in food stores in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia.
