A loud explosion was heard in the vicinity of the Wazir Muhammad Akbar Khan Grand Mosque in Kabul.
This was announced by Tolo News, according to which the explosion would have occurred this morning as the faithful were leaving the place of worship on Friday of prayer.

The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of the

in power in Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid, condemned the explosion.
Attacking mosques and targeting the faithful is a "serious and unforgivable crime
," he tweeted from Afghan TV Tolo News.
