Nothing again: NASA has once again postponed the test flight of the unmanned rocket. The reason is a storm approaching Florida. The new start date is October.

The US space agency Nasa has canceled a launch attempt for the problem-plagued moon mission “Artemis” scheduled for Tuesday.

In a statement on Saturday, NASA cited an approaching tropical storm moving towards the US state of Florida as the reason.

A new time window for the launch of the unmanned rocket is now being targeted, it should be between October 17th and 31st.

Another leak occurred during a tank test on Wednesday, but the test was completed as planned.

All goals have been achieved, according to NASA.

About three weeks ago, two attempts to launch the rocket failed – partly because of a leaking tank hose.

The rocket system was then initially brought back to the hangar at the Cape Canaveral spaceport in the US state of Florida.

Problems had also arisen in earlier »Artemis« tests, which resulted in considerable delays in the project.

The program, which is named after the Greek goddess of the moon, is initially about an unmanned test flight to the moon.

In a few years, however, US astronauts are expected to land on the moon again.
